This event will be held on the lawn of the Northampton old courthouse at the corner of Main and King Street. Food will be provided by La Veracruzana. The committee has organized a variety of activities to engage our tenants as well as the wider community including hula hooping with JoyHoops of Amherst; musical performances organized by Dick Bauman and Don Perry; a standup comic performance by one of our tenants; a participatory art project organized by Greg Richane and Michael DiPasquale on “What Home Means to You”; a raffle for Valley CDC tenants as well as a raffle for the general public; beverages; chalk and bubbles for the kids; and some displays about Valley CDC.
All refreshments and activities are free. There will be tents in case of rain as well as a port-a-potty. Event is rain or shine. Please contact Joanne Campbell if you’re interested in volunteering.
